Great place to camp quite . Places for large rvs, tents , cabins on site plus cabin tents. Lots of beautiful scenery. Lakes a short drive to launche your boat.
Mid June, extremely hot. Didn't cool down until very late. Camp host very helpful. Pool was a blessing, helped us cool down. Very nice, roomy camp sites. The only con is the traffic noise, and the train tracks must be very close.
Best bang for the buck, Cecil is the man, very kind and courteous. If you need a place to spend the night or for a family weekend, I'd recommend this place. I'd describe it as "simple". A great deal are the furnished tents @ $45 a night
Its nice not much to say, watch for the huge amount of water you have to drive thru in its wet season or just a hard rain (i guess). We drove it at night it started raining,pollwhen we were there. when we left had to cross a river that could have bogged us out ( keep foot on gas)
This place might be nice in the spring. But not now. We tent camped. The bathrooms are filthy, dirty. Shower worse. Cobwebs, spiders, frogs.
